2022年世界杯亚洲预选赛结果franklin & marshall college is committed to serve as a leader in building a sustainable world, from its campus in lancaster, pa., to the surrounding community and beyond. our campus sustainability master plan orients our current initiatives around waste, transportation, buildings, water, food systems, and education, putting our sustainability commitments into practice. through our department of earth and environment, we are training and nurturing effective leaders, professionals, and environmentally literate citizens who possess a broad view and balanced background that a liberal arts education provides. our department of earth and environment is home to majors in environmental studies, environmental sciences, and geosciences. many opportunities and significant financial support are available for students to study in the field, in their courses, on extracurricular field trips, through a variety of research programs and while studying abroad. at the center for a sustainable environment, the many interests and initiatives relating to global environmental stewardship and sustainability on our campus are consolidated. these initiatives include the fair trade café, the dirt army, the outdoor gear rental program (ogrp), the pollinator club and the environmental action alliance, as well as a monthly greenmail newsletter featuring student environmental writing.
the franklin and marshall campus grounds are also the caroline steinman nunan arboretum, and we are additionally home to a nearby 50-acre natural laboratory at spalding conservancy and cooperative learning relationship with the nonprofit millport conservancy, which is also located in lancaster county, pa. franklin & marshall college is certified as a tree campus usa, participates in the epa’s food recovery challenge, and we are an institutional member of the association for the advancement of sustainability in higher education (aashe), the pennsylvania environmental resource 2022年世界杯亚洲预选赛结果 (perc), among other initiatives.
