contributorsophia roberts is a current freshman at suny college of environmental science and forestry in the environmental studies program. originally from the midwest, she has grown up seeing a variety of environmental issues and injustices faced by those in rural and urban areas. with this, she has been moved to learn more about community efforts to better their local environment. in her free time, she enjoys reading, volunteering, and photography.
