contributorhello! my name is charlie olsen.
i'm a senior at suny plattsburgh pursuing a degree in environmental studies with a focus on environmental justice issues. i am originally from bellport, ny (that's on long island.)
i love the environment and the vast array of connections that our species has with the environment we live in. i have decided to dive deeper into these connections as the host of my podcast; pod for the planet. on the pod, i begin discussions into a wide variety of topics and try to look at how everything can be connected back to the environment. it is my hope that by listening to the pod, people can then keep the conversation going and become more aware of the socio-ecological systems that we all live in.
after school, i hope to enter a career in environmental policy and work to help communities that are affected by poor environmental conditions across america.
