hi, my name is clio. i am from portland, oregon. i am currently studying journalism and environmental science at bennington college in vermont. i want to write about our climate crisis in a way that is both engaging and accessible to those outside of academia. i am particularly interested in environmental justice and intersections between racism, classism, and the destruction of our natural environment. i have worked for both the portland state university student newspaper, the vanguard, and bennington’s student-run paper, the bennington lens. last winter, i interned at the community justice nonprofit magazine oregon humanities. when not writing, i love to hike, make jewelry, and doodle in my sketchbook.
