david lippy

david has been engaged in environmental policy,
legislative action and environmental causes for many years. he began his professional career as a legislative assistant working in both the u.s. senate and house of representatives. his consulting career began by working for the rand corporation, a think-tank located in santa monica, california.
david was the first president of the world of children awards, the equivalent of the nobel peace prize for children’s advocates. in more recent years, david served as the director of development for oceanites, an international non-profit focused on climate change in antarctica.
david’s current focus with planet forward is working with founding director frank sesno to advance the overall mission of the center. together they are working to broaden the audience and raise the awareness about the urgent task of generating innovation and creativity in telling the story of climate change.
