originally from pittsburgh, pennsylvania, i moved to davis, california when i was 15. i am a sophomore at george washington university majoring in political communication and minoring in sustainability. for the past two summers, i interned at a lobbyist's office that focused on sustainability issues. during my freshman year, i interned at the worldwatch institute where i am blogging about sustainable issues and assisting with their family planning research. in my sophomore year, i continued exploring how to effectively tell stories about sustainable issues. i am also a sister in phi sigma sigma sorority and one of the executive producers for gweek, a tv news show on campus about gw and dc.
on a planet forward storytelling trip this fall to nebraska, i was inspired by the women we met — women not all in roles you'd expect to find on family farms and in the agriculture industry. keep reading
