]]> the grove at ole miss welcomes more than 60,000 people each game day. the green grove initiative is a program supported by the office of sustainability at ole miss. recycling bins are set up each game day with billboards that explain what can and cannot be recycled; therefore educating students, alumni and fans. more than 80,000 tons of garbage is collected from the grove. recycling cuts down energy usage dramatically.
