a junior at middlebury college, josh is an environmental science major with a focus in economics, as well as a psychology minor. he holds a deep sense of awe in the beauty and peacefulness of nature. this appreciation for the earth sparks his passion to preserve our home and all the life it supports, and he believes that this remains the most pressing issue facing the world.
although constantly reading concerning environmental news and predictions sparks feelings of distress and frustration, josh hopes to be part of the movement that finally inspires a widespread shift to healing our planet, rather than exploiting it. having grown up in massachusetts and attending college in vermont, josh is spoiled with pristine scenery and opportunities for outdoors adventures, and he wants to make sure that everyone can form their own positive relationship with nature no matter where they live. whether hiking, swimming, skiing, or exploring new places, josh enjoys spending time outside, especially with friends and family.
he also loves sports, and frequently plays basketball with friends and soccer for the middlebury club soccer team. when the weather is nice enough, he enjoys playing golf, though he has plenty of room for improvement. he can spend all day reading, watching, or talking about several different sports, but his favorite event of the year is, by far, the men’s ncaa basketball tournament, known as “march madness.” he is also a diehard fan of all the boston sports teams, especially the boston celtics.
among his other activities on campus, josh writes for the sports section of the school newspaper, mentors a high school student through the college application process, and participates in a sustainable investment club. when he has free time, he enjoys listening to podcasts, playing with his dog, and spending time with friends and family. he is thrilled to be a planet 世界杯欧洲预选赛免费直播
