suny environmental science and forestry

i am a sophomore at suny college of environmental science and forestry in syracuse, ny majoring in environmental studies, with a focus in communication and society. i also have a minor in environmental writing and rhetoric. i am passionate about environmental education, and am involved in the student environmental education coalition (seec) on campus, as well as a youth program developer for the central new york izaak walton league of america chapter. i became passionate about the environment after attending the environmental studies summer youth institute at hobart and william smith colleges. it was at this program that i became aware of the dangers of single use plastics.
