i grew up on a sailboat in st. thomas, usvi before coming to virginia for college to pursue conservation biology. i am interested in pursuing communication to bridge the gap between research and the public to promote sustainable and progressive action, particularly in small island communities. i enjoy outdoor activities from hiking, camping, horseback riding, and water sports.
