i am a first generation american studying at the university of colorado, boulder. i am pursuing a career in environmental journalism and ecology. currently i am earning a b.a. in ecology and evolutionary biology and a b.a. in journalism. my hobbies include big mountain skiing, downhill mountain biking and surfing. i am also a staff writer for the cu-independent.
