hello, fellow storytellers! i am an undergraduate senior at george washington university studying environmental and sustainability science. i am from northern california and have interdisciplinary career interests in environmental education and science communication. as a correspondent for planet forward, i use multimedia storytelling to facilitate collaborative problem-solving between local communities, political institutions, and the scientific community on issues like marine conservation and sustainable agriculture. beyond planet forward, i am also a science communicator for the gedan lab, a coastal marine ecology lab studying sea level rise impacts on coastal marshes, farms, and forests in the mid-atlantic region. after college, i hope to become an environmental journalist or educator and, in doing so, use photography and filmmaking to engage and inspire the general public in scientific research and discovery.
