i am a senior at the george washington university, majoring in international affairs and minoring in journalism and mass communications. i was born in india, but have lived in thailand, china, singapore, switzerland, and now the united states. as a kid, i did not always enjoy moving so often, but now looking back, i couldn't be more grateful for the global exposure and life experiences that came with it. moving around so much has made me curious about the way different people and communities think, what they value, and how they act. i have also become curious about how different countries operate, especially the details of their social, economic, political and environmental commitments. furthermore, i am passionate about making space for a more wholistic and creative conversation on sustainability. i believe in the power of a "trifecta" approach, that unites social, economic, and environmental progress as parts of the same goal rather than diverging or competing interests. climate stories are human stories, and i hope to capture the human voice in all of this.
