growing up in rural minnesota, i have witnessed many agricultural opportunities at home and within my local community. my family ingrained in me a strong appreciation for honesty, respect, responsibility, and generosity in agriculture and entrepreneurship.
i am pursuing my bachelor of science degree at the university of minnesota college of food, agriculture and natural resource sciences. i strive to be a student leader and actively participate in many opportunities within agriculture. i hope my career will contribute to meeting future food demands, making sure food supplies are safe and nutritious, and creating a safe farming environment. whether i am selling agricultural products, teaching farming techniques, researching and applying technology, or starting an agricultural-based business, i look forward to establishing my future in agriculture.
