tim directs the advocacy, policy and political efforts of the clean economy network. before joining cen, tim served as the deputy legislative director for the league of conservation voters. prior to that, tim spent time at the climate center of the natural resources defense council focusing on helping mayors develop and implement climate action plans in their cities. he has also spent time consulting to the department of energy and the environmental protection agency on the energy star program helping businesses with market penetration of their qualified products. earlier this year, a leading daily washington dc publication, the hill, named tim as one of the top advocates in washington dc for his work to organize and represent the interests of clean economy businesses.
he holds a master of public policy from the sanford institute for public policy at duke university and a b.a. in government from the university of texas, austin.
