dear sir ,i am pleased to inform you that i have been successful in transferring the technology of the invention solar fluid heating system to the philippines. i have used several local companies to do so, they are as follows, fabritec of mandaue, for the base mount assembly, efson of consolation for the power-head assembly, and our-soft for the electronic,s controller. these companies represent the main body of advanced solar technologies philippines manufacturing cooperative,at this time we here at ast have been working with my grant coordinator jose bigornia to develop the solar fluid heating system into a desalination device. to accomplish this we at ast have applied to the department of science and technology for a grant in the amount of $996,000pesos to develop the first solar dish .the sfhs developed by ast will be used for energy collection for electrical generation by means of thermal heat transfer. primary development will result in a means to produce fresh drinking water from seawater. secondary phase will result in a means for energy production via thermal heat transfer using freon as a medium to drive a vapor motor to produce mechanical motion which then will be coupled to a generation devices of the appropriate size .the solar dish reflective surface was mirrors,we are exploring the possibility of using fiberglass or plastic injector molding and either using reflectec mirror film or by means of electroplating the inner curved surface. the parabolic support arms are made from 1 inch square stainless tubing, the mount bracket is powder-coated to insure weatherproofing ,the ½ inch stainless tubing used to fabricate the power-head coil is coated with a high temp resistant polymer wrinkle finish black coating to increase thermal absorption.. the cad design for the injector mold is almost finished, the design is being done by ryan bergerson in the usa in exchange for the distribution and sales rights for a two state area in the usa.
