the new technology uses reverse osmosis membranes to filter salty water and direct the water directly to the plants’ roots without damaging the crops.

the “green steel” project created the ability to recycle waste plastics and waste rubber for making steel.  in the process itself, it has shown that the steel making process can also become more energy efficient which lowers electricity consumption.  this makes it a win-win when it comes to  recycling waste materials and energy consumption in the steel making process.
