as people become more urban and less connected to the land they miss out on the reason why some careers are so rewarding. encouraging young people to identify how to make wise food choices, choices that can make a difference for them personally, and for the future of our planet, starts with meeting the people who grow the food. the women out in the field should not remain faceless. it is time to promote their capabilities with practices that help maintain our health, our food chain, and encourage sustainable practices that make sense.
