eva sideris is based in san diego, california, working full-time as the 2023 delta science communication fellow for the delta stewardship council and california sea grant at the scripps institute of oceanography. she works with state-funded scientists throughout the sacramento-san joaquin delta to create communication products, such as videos, multimedia essays, and information sheets, that teach different audiences and stakeholders about the latest research on water and environmental resources.
eva’s other creative work often involves topics in agriculture, commerce-based conservation, and the dynamic interactions between water and people. she aspires to continue making films and other pieces to creatively communicate science and business with environmental justice.
