one of today’s issues in our country is the prices of gasoline and the cleanliness of gasoline. biofuels has been used, like ethanol, to help make gas more efficient and clean it up, making it better for the environment. ethanol has, however, proposed certain problems in the process. as students at the university of mississippi, we asked ole miss professors about their experiences with biofuels in the past.<\/p>\n
a major change occurred over the past year when researchers from the university of california, los angeles have found a way to convert wood plants directly into another biofuel called isobutanol in only one step, according to biofuelsdigest.com. this is significant because isobutanol has a higher alcohol concentration than ethanol and can be used more efficiently in gasoline to run any engine.<\/p>\n
