our team profiled the city college of new york team for the solar decathlon. this team decided to create what they called a solar roofpod, which is essentially a building to be placed on top of an apartment building in new york city.<\/p>\n
the unique innovation here is that the ccny team thought about overpopulation in new york city and decided to adapt by building a piece of urban infrastructure that could exist on top of already present buildings.<\/p>\n
