greta hardy-mittell is a potential english major and second-year student at carleton college in northfield, minnesota. growing up in small-town vermont, she got used to having beautiful ecosystems all around: a forest in her backyard, a river down the street, and a mountain up the road. she became outraged at age 10 when she learned that climate change threatened them all. since then, she's devoted her time (and her reading list!) to changing that, for all humans and non-humans alike.<\/p>\r\n\r\n
